<\/p>\nMANGALURU, May 22, 2026: A ceremonial inauguration launch for four modern convention and event facilities developed under the leadership of former minister Krishna J. Palemar was held on Friday morning at Nethravathi Sabhabhavana, located on the banks of the Nethravathi River at Jeppu Kadekaru\u2013Jeppinamogaru in Mangaluru.<\/p>\n
The official inauguration of the four facilities \u2014 Nethravathi Sabhabhavana, Palemar Convention Centre, Palemar Farms, and Palemar Garden \u2014 is scheduled to take place on Saturday, May 23, 2026. The venues have been developed to host public gatherings, weddings, cultural events, and social functions.<\/p>\n

The programme commenced with a welcome address by Yogish. Dignitaries on the dais were honoured with floral felicitations, followed by the ceremonial lighting of the lamp marking the launch of the inauguration celebrations. Members of the Palemar family were also felicitated during the occasion. The event was compered by Kadri Navaneeth Shetty.<\/p>\n
Addressing the gathering, Shakunthala Narendranath Kotekar said that every auspicious beginning is connected with divine energy and noted that the revival of the traditional Nemotsava after nearly four decades was a significant and spiritual moment. She observed that divine blessings have played a major role in the development of the region.<\/p>\n
Delivering his blessings, Nithin Narendranath Yogeshwara Swamiji said the greatness of the place stemmed from spiritual values and added that convention halls should not merely serve as venues for functions, but also as centres for social harmony and community development. He expressed hope for collective prosperity and well-being.<\/p>\n
Speaking on the occasion, Mohanadas Paramahamsa Swamiji of Sri Dhama Manila said people should experience the sacredness of the place and emphasized that society must grow on the foundations of dharma and love. He praised the social contributions and public service initiatives undertaken by Krishna J. Palemar.<\/p>\n
Former minister Krishna J. Palemar said the facilities located along the banks of the Nethravathi River were being dedicated for public use. Sharing his family\u2019s emotional connection with the place, he said community development can be achieved through cultural and social progress.<\/p>\n
Presiding over the function, MLA Umanath Kotian described the project as a landmark initiative for the region. Referring to Krishna J.
